Quality Attribute Sheets Management

Define what good looks like, so everyone can check for it

Quality attribute sheets remove subjectivity from QC, replacing terms like "ruby" or "garnet" with defined tolerance ranges or graded scales, backed by reference photography and defect classifications. Validated against production samples, the sheet becomes the controlled reference for QC checkpoints and supplier audits.

What we do

An attribute sheet is only as useful as its weakest definition, so we build each one from a critical attribute analysis rather than a generic template. From there, it’s about capturing evidence, developing the document, and getting it into the hands of everyone who needs to check against it.

Attribute sheet development

We work directly with your technical and production teams to agree the standard, focusing on the boundary cases where most interpretation disputes actually happen.

The finished sheet is formatted for its working environment, laminated line-side reference, digital checklist, or supplier system, with version control built in, and gets followed far more consistently because your team helped shape it.

Reference photography

Reference photography is captured under standardised, colour-calibrated lighting and a fixed camera position, controlling for variation that inconsistent capture would otherwise introduce.

Each attribute is documented across a representative range, acceptable variation plus graded minor and critical defects, not a single idealised image, and reviewed on the same cycle as the attribute sheet.

QAS rollout and supplier alignment

Rollout is a controlled document release, with the finalised sheet issued under version control to every site assessing against it, own QC, production, and all suppliers in scope.

We run alignment sessions with suppliers to confirm interpretation matches intent before it becomes a disputed batch, and any revision follows the same controlled process, withdrawing prior versions to keep one authoritative reference.
